the other day ago…

I went to a Chinese New Year party today (Chinese New Year was last Monday – Jan. 26). There were a bunch of people there and lots of homemade Chinese food. I even got to make dumplings. Anyway – I’d like to welcome everyone to the year of the ox.

well – I know it’s been here for almost a month already, but hey. Wayne said that this year is the year to show the world our love, and I’ve decided it’s also the year of the jobe – so all in all, I think things are going to be pretty great. – here’s a pic from the 2nd Annual “Lips Rock Action City New Year’s Eve Freakout Bash Thing” – yeah – that might not be the official name, but I like it – and some money went to help people with heating their homes, so that’s always good – and it’s good to start a year with service – also – didn’t we finally get rid of that silly administration… at any rate, happy new year! – j

you know – I love the way the facebook thing imported my contacts and then prentended that I was selecting who I wanted to send the invitations to – but then just sent them to everyone in my contact list anyway – hmmm. technology.

well – at least the “the other day ago…” blog got an invite. thank goodness for that.
